At a village Banyan tree, the milk-maid Sujātā, is said to have fed an emaciated Gautama Buddha a bowl of kheer, a milk-rice.
Raise a Village Foundation, a non-profit, supports 140 families and 3500 people.
RVF was born out of the love of Pankaj, his wife & family to serve the Sujata village (his father was working in the field at the time of this photo)
